Construction Update

Week 14-June 28 to Completion

As the construction is nearing completion, the weekly updates will no longer be provided on the website. At this stage of the construction, the remaining work includes application of stucco to the exterior, installation of the stone trim, addition of the planter on the front, interior and exterior painting, and pouring of concrete for the sidewalk, planter, generator, and A/C unit. The builder, Jerry Ward estimates completion of the construction by July 5^th, with work on the punch list to be completed by July 12^th. These dates are not firm as they depend on certain items to be completed by Entergy and other sub-contractors based on availability and weather. As soon as Security is relocated into the new building, the existing guard shack will be demolished.

The construction project has gone very well thanks to the expertise and commitment of Jerry and CJ Ward, our builders. They have been the utmost in cooperation and the very attentive to every detail of the project. We will be scheduling an Open House to allow residents to view the new guardhouse as soon as the completion date is firm.
