April Sound is a community like no other, with residents who have been here since the 1970s and new neighbors who have recently joined us. Our amenities are many and attractions include beautiful Lake Conroe and popular tennis, swimming, dining and other activities for members of the privately-owned April Sound Country Club, which boasts three 9-hole golf courses.
The April Sound Marina, Inc. is a 40-slip facility operated by a five-member board and managed through the POA office.
The April Sound Property Owners Association publishes a monthly newsletter which highlights events and features community-based articles written by our own residents.

We are happy to provide links to independent social organizations that serve property owners and the community, but function outside of the April Sound POA under their own charters and/or structures. Joining these organizations is strictly voluntary and is a great way to plug in, socialize and meet neighbors. Note that the April Sound POA does not fund, staff or appoint members:
